MOUNTING

Mounting is the process of attaching a printed piece or artwork onto a rigid backing board or substrate to give it strength, stability, and a professional presentation finish.

An example would be a company prints an A1-size promotional poster on high-quality paper. To make it durable and easy to display at an exhibition.

SEAM GLUEING

Seam Gluing is the process of applying adhesive along the seams or flaps of a die-cut carton or box so that it can be securely folded and assembled into its final 3D structure.

An example would be a Perfume Box is first printed, die-cut, and creased, then seam-glued along one side flap, allowing it to be shipped flat and later opened and assembled into a rigid box shape.
