WIRO BINDING
Wiro Binding (also known as Wire-O binding) is a print-finishing method where a series of holes are punched along the edge of printed pages and a double-loop wire spine is inserted to bind the pages together, allowing them to open fully and rotate 360 degrees.
Aa example would be a spiral-bound notebook used in meetings may be wiro bound, allowing pages to flip easily and stay flat on a desk while writing.
SPIRAL BINDING
Plastic Spiral Binding is a binding method where a continuous plastic coil (spiral) is threaded through a series of punched holes along the edge of printed pages to hold them together, allowing the document to open easily and flexibly.
An example would be a student workbook may use plastic spiral binding, allowing the pages to turn smoothly and lie flat on a desk for writing and note-taking.
CALENDAR RIMMING
Calendar Rimming is the process of adding a metal hanging rim (also called a calendar hanger or wire hanger) to the top of a printed calendar so it can be easily hung on a wall.
An example would be a corporate branded wall calendar may have a metal rimming strip at the top with a hanging hook, allowing it to be neatly displayed in offices or homes.
